Canon Speedlite 277T

10-27-24: Buy it now from Goodwill of the Olympics and Rainier Region (Tacoma WA), $12.91 with one cent freight, plus the fees. $5 handling = $19.46.
11-1-24: Arrived today, looked good, but didn't work. Cleaned the contacts, exercised the switches, still nothing. Dropped a pair of hot lithiums in with the Alkalines and it started right up. So it needs hot batteries to work. Maybe because it hasn't been used in years. Just relieved that it came to life. It's not very noisy. Will do a film test ASAP.

8-2-25: Shot with Canon T70. Worked perfectly, was not noisy. Used NiMH batteries. Has 2 modes, Program and F.No. set. In Program it sets shutter speed and aperture. It really likes the Canon T70 and Canon T50, Canon AE-1 and AE-1 Program, and the Canon New F1. The F.No.set mode works with more Canon cameras. You can pick whatever aperture you prefer and you set it on the camera manually. Also on old models you must set X-sync speed manually. This flash adjusts for a wider range of aperture for depth of field control. It came with a snap-on diffuser for 28mm lenses. By default it goes down to 35mm.
8-2-25: Shot with Canon T70 (7022).
9-16-25: Shot with Canon T50 (1727).
